Success, dear reader, starts each and every morning. Instead of rolling out of bed, dousing yourself in body spray and sniff-testing whether or not you can wear the same clothes you wore yesterday, start with making your bed, it will start your day off with a sense of accomplishment. Now that you have accomplished a small task, now you can move on to something bigger, like bathing and possibly getting that sales letter done that you have been putting off for 3 weeks.
Take that task that you need to accomplish and break it down into small bite-sized pieces. It will make it so much less overwhelming. Then set aside time each day to devote to knocking off all those small pieces. Make sure to hold fast to that time limit, no more, no less…this is key to make sure you don’t get burnt out or overwhelmed. Before you know it, the task is complete and you can move on to the next one.
Know what you are good at and what you aren’t. Focus on your strengths and sub out the rest. There are great resources out there for outsourcing like oDesk and Fiverr which can free you up to really laser focus your energy on your business. As an entrepreneur, you should know that your time is valuable, to spend it on tasks that you aren’t great at is one of the biggest mistakes you can make.
